Ekene Onu is a speaker, author and editor.
She is the author of the contemporary novel “The Mrs club” and the new inspirational book “Can I be real”. Her tell it like it is, girlfriend style has allowed her to become a favorite of African women across the Diaspora.
She writes for various print and online magazines, like Today’s woman and Bellanaija.com. She has created and facilitated workshops for women in the United States and she was the founder and creative director of NouveauAfricana.com and is currently the editor and principal writer for Ewellafrica.com.
Ekene Onu has appeared on television shows like Silverbird TV’s morning show and also cohosted radio shows in New York. Her passion for seeing women live fully engaged lives with love and faith, led her to create her blog lifelovefaith.com, it also inspired her to become a life coach who focuses on helping women heal from difficult situations and encouraging them to push past their boundaries into their destinies.
As a speaker, Ekene is engaging, honest, humorous and real. It is precisely her willingness to be open and transparent that allows her audience to connect with her. Ekene is unflinching about her faith as a Christian, yet she relays her beliefs in a manner that is inclusive.
