Ekene Onu is the author of “The Mrs Club” a contemporary work of fiction. She is also working on a non fiction book, entitled Can I be real, soon to be released as well as her second fiction novel.

The Mrs. Club, Ekene Onu’s story about three Naija girls trying to find and keep Mr. Right, is funny, entertaining, heartwarming, and instructional. Titi was so materialistic and opportunistic, we knew that deep down inside was a woman who did not value herself. Mina pushed the pain of her childhood hurts so deep that she became a cold woman who could not love her husband, only control him. And how we rooted for Amaka, hoping that she would find a worthy man who would not disappoint her. The book taught us that while “membership has its rewards”, the Mrs. Club is not an easy club to belong to.
